1:1. ಪೌಲನು ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪತ್ರ. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯುಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆನು. ನಾನು ಈ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಸೊಸ್ಥೆನನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
